    Basic Margarita

    Forget about mixes filled with an overload of sugar an unpronounceable ingredients. This popular drink should be made fresh with these easy-to-find ingredients: Ingredients

  • 2-3-oz tequila (silver or gold) 1-1 1/2 oz orange liqueur or Triple sec 2-4 oz homemade sour mix (even parts of lemon, lime and orange juices and 5 tablespoons sugar) 3 lime wedges
  • Tip To salt a glass -- Pour lime juice onto a plate and roll outside rim of the glass around the plate. Then sprinkle glass with salt or roll glass around another plate with salt.

      Frozen Raspberry Tart Margarita

      Additional Ingredients

    • 2-3-oz tequila (silver or gold) 1-1 1/2 oz orange liqueur or Triple sec 2-4 oz homemade sour mix (even parts of lemon, lime and orange juices and 5 tablespoons sugar) 2 scoops raspberry sorbet 1 oz pineapple juice
    • Directions
    • Pour all ingredients into a blender filled with crushed ice. Blend to desired smoothness. Pour.
      • Frozen Pineapple Coconut Margarita

        Additional Ingredients

      • ¼ cup of coconut shavings 3-5 pineapple wedges
      • Directions
      • Pour all ingredients into a blender filled with crushed ice. Reserve one pineapple wedge. Blend until smooth. Pour and garnish with remaining pineapple wedge.
        • Blackberry Zinger Margarita

          Additional Ingredients

        • 6-8 blackberries 1-1/2oz passion puree or juice 10 oz guava juice Star fruit, optional optional, or lime slice for garnish Kosher or margarita salt
        • Directions
        • Muddle (mash) blackberries with limes. Mix together with liquids. Run lime over rim of glass then dip rim in salt. Strain and pour over crushed ice in a salted glass.
          • Mint Julep Surprise Margarita

            Additional Ingredients

          • 4 sprigs mint Club soda
          • Directions
          • Muddle or chop mint very fine. Mix with other liquids. Add ice and shake. Don’t strain. Pour into glass. Top off with club soda.
          • Peach Cobbler Margarita

            Additional Ingredients

          • 6 blueberries 3-4 slices peach 1 oz blue Curacao
          • Directions
          • Muddle (mash) blueberries and peach slices. Mix together with liquids. Shake in mixing glass vigorously. Strain and serve over ice.
